Byond Colour is a personal colour analysis business run by Ana Rebeca Lopes in Perth, Western Australia (ABN 14 109 886 987). This policy explains what personal information I collect, why I collect it, and how I look after it. I follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
If you have any question about your information, write to me at info@byondcolour.com.
What I collect
When you book a session. Your name, email, phone number, the address of your session (for in-home appointments), your answers to the booking form, and your answers to the short questions I send after you book, such as how you found me and what you would like me to know. Payments are processed securely by Stripe through my booking platform. I never see or store your full card details.
When you buy a gift voucher. Your name and contact details, and the name and contact details of the person you are gifting, so I can arrange their session.
Sensitive information. Sometimes clients choose to tell me about things like a pregnancy, a skin condition or a big life change. I only hold this kind of information if you choose to share it, and I only use it to tailor your session.
During your session. With your permission only, I may take photos or short videos of you with the colour fan. They are used to prepare your personal guide. They are only shared publicly (for example, on Instagram or my website) if you have given me written consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
When you download my free e-book or join my email list. Your name and email address.
When you visit this website. Information about how you use the site, such as pages visited, device type and approximate location. This is collected through cookies (see below).
Why I collect it
- To schedule and deliver your session, and to send your personal colour guide and follow-up support.
- To answer your questions.
- To send you emails you have signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how people find and use my website and advertising, so I can improve them.
I do not sell or rent your personal information.
Who I share it with
I use trusted services to run my business. They only receive what they need to do their job:
- Acuity Scheduling (bookings)
- Stripe (payments)
- MailerLite (email list)
- Google (Gmail, Google Forms, Google Sheets, Google Analytics and Google Ads)
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising, through the Meta Pixel)
- TikTok (TikTok advertising, through the TikTok Pixel)
Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. They have their own privacy policies and security measures.
Cookies
This website uses cookies for statistics and marketing. You can block or delete them at any time in your browser settings.
How I keep it safe
Your information is kept in password-protected accounts that only I can access. I keep it for as long as I need it to support you and to meet my legal and tax obligations, and then I delete it.
If a data breach ever happened that could cause you serious harm, I would let you know as soon as possible and tell you what I am doing about it.
Reviews and testimonials
Reviews you leave on Google or social media are public and visible to anyone. I only show a testimonial, your name or your photo on my website or social media with your written permission.
Under 18s
My services are designed for adults. If someone under 18 joins a session, for example as part of a Colour Party, I need the consent of a parent or guardian.
Your choices
You can ask me at any time to:
- see the personal information I hold about you,
- correct it,
- delete it, or
- stop sending you emails.
Just email info@byondcolour.com and I will reply within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please tell me first and I will do my best to fix it. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
